Litian Zhang

About Me

I am a first-year PhD student in School of Computing and Data Science at The University of Hong Kong, advised by Prof. Taku Komura. My research focuses on physics-based simulation and high performance computing.

Before joining HKU, I received a B.S. in Mechanics and a B.E. in Civil Engineering Systems from Tsinghua University, Xinjian College.

Research Interests

• Physics-Based Simulation: material point method, incremental potential contact and real-time physics simulation
• High performance Computing: how to utilize modern GPU build scalable algorithm
• Geometry in Physics Simulation: Monte Carlo method, etc.
